Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do I need to hire a professional for installation?
A: Not necessarily! Our sunrooms are specifically designed to be DIY-friendly. With our provided step-by-step manuals, a group of 2-3 family members or friends can comfortably complete the assembly in just 1 to 3 days. This straightforward process allows you to save significantly on expensive professional installation fees. Of course, you are always welcome to hire a local contractor if you prefer a hands-off approach.
Q: Can the sunroom withstand heavy snow or strong winds?
A: Our sunrooms are engineered for demanding weather conditions. They feature a maximum snow load capacity of 35 PSF and can withstand wind speeds up to 115 mph. Furthermore, the entire system is designed to be waterproof, keeping the interior perfectly dry year-round.
Q: What material is the sunroom frame made of?
A: Our sunrooms are constructed using Premium 6063-T5 Aluminum. This commercial-grade material ensures exceptional durability, rust-resistance, and long-lasting structural integrity.
Q: Do I need a building permit to install the sunroom?
A: Building permit requirements vary by city and local zoning laws. We strongly recommend checking with your local building department before purchasing. If your city requires structural specifications or engineering details for the permit application, please contact us and we will provide the necessary documents.
Q: How long does delivery take for Sunrooms?
A: Since our premium sunrooms are built-to-order, please allow 12-16 weeks for delivery. This includes custom manufacturing, ocean freight, and driveway delivery.
Q: Are there any hidden delivery fees?
A: Our pricing is fully transparent. The "Free Shipping" covers custom production, ocean freight, U.S. customs clearance, import duties, and appointment-based driveway delivery.
Q: Are your structures stable?
A: Yes, our heavy-duty models are engineered with four robust vertical posts to ensure maximum stability, exceptional load-bearing capacity, and reliable weather resistance. We do not use single-sided support.
Q: What is the return policy for freight items?
A: Due to the high cost of custom manufacturing and freight, we do not accept standard returns for buyer's remorse on large structures. For transit damage or missing parts, we promptly provide replacement parts.
